Clergy from EPUMC and Saint John of God Parish will be joined by clergy from other denominations and leaders in the LGBTQ community to remember transgender people lost due to violence during the past year. This annual observance honors those lost and provides hope for transgender people struggling to survive in a hostile world. An ensemble from Albany Voices of Pride will participate at the Transgender Day of Remembrance service singing two songs: “We Shall Be Known” and “Times They Are a Changing”! This service, which is free and open to the public, is presented by EPUMC, Saint John of God Parish, CACINA's Saint Wilgefortis TRANSmission, and the Pride Center of the Capital Region. Service is at Eastern Parkway UMC.
